Swim, kayak, boat, fish, hike, bike or just take a stroll along the river’s edge with 1-1/2 miles of sandy beaches. This spacious 100 acre campground beams with nature, wildlife and scenic views. The Brazos River is about 300’ wide and 10’-20’ deep and all of our sites are riverfront. Each campsite measures at least 100’ wide x 150’ deep and comes with its own firepit, picnic table and charcoal grill. Geared toward family and friends camping, our secluded resort is a one-of-a-kind gem balancing nature and wildlife with fun and relaxation. Always locked & gated with no day-use activities, the Resort is very safe. Absolutely no one gets in without a camping reservation or annual membership.
Fishing the Brazos is popular and anglers are successful. Whether it’s catch & release or fish for dinner, campers young and old, beginner to experienced, have a great time fishing the river. Pets are welcome too and many people bring them. Dogs love camping as much as their owners do and our policy is simple. If pets are friendly, obey commands, and won't run off, then they are welcome at Bee Mountain Resort.
Home to abundant wildlife and a large deer population, visitors love the close up views and take plenty of pictures/video to memorialize their trip. With those big Texas skies, amazing sunsets and starlit nights, every season along the river is special…..you definitely won't find this in the city! Our resort is located 17 miles south of Cleburne, 50 miles south of Fort Worth and about 75 miles from either Dallas or Waco.
